Bluefang is the first App that lets your train, contain and control your dogs barking with your iPhone. The app works with the Bluefang Collar available from www.HiTecPet.com and from other pet products retailers. For training the Bluefang app turns your iPhone into a remote transmitter that can trigger positive tones and corrective stimulus from a distance of more than 400 ft. The training function provides 6 positive behavioral tones used as command and reward to quickly teach "Good Dog" behaviors such as Sit, Stay, Come, Heel, Down and Fetch. You also have the ability to customize the names of each command button. 3 customizable corrective stimulus commands are provided to stop unwanted behaviors. Each corrective stimulus level can be customized to your dogs temperament. You can set stimulus level and duration for each command button. Low level stimulus is desirable to get your dogs attention while higher levels are reserved to stop dangerous or aggressive behaviors such as chasing cars and people.
Bark control is also built into the Bluefang collar and controlled by your iPhone. The collar has the ability to distinguish between common nuisance barking and more urgent intruder/ alarm barking. You may opt to allow the intruder barking if desired. You can also chose to stop howling. Correction modes include painless tone only mode or more aggressive tone plus stimulus mode. Both modes feature progressively increasing output. The collar also functions as an invisible electronic dog fence collar when used with any High Tech Pet brand dog fence transmitter (also available from www.HiTecPet.com.
The app allows your phone to control an unlimited number of collars with the ability to name each collar and to customize commands, stimulus levels, bark control and containment modes for each collar. It also has the ability to wirelessly new firmware updates to the collar making use of the many onboard collar devices such as microphone, speaker, accelerometer and temperature sensor, to provide new functions and features as they become available.
